What medicines my family and I took to recover from Covid 19 illness?



When we discovered that we have Covid 19, the first step we took was we contacted our family doctors for the suggestion. 

Our doctors suggested us if you have symptom's don't wait for a test. Just start your treatment right now, judging the current situation in Delhi, where stress on testing, there was a delay of 4 to 5days. And at my hometown, my family also didn't wait for the test results and started the treatment immediately.


What was medicine suggested to us by our doctors at the beginning?


  1. Zincovit, or any alternate brand medicines having zinc more than equal to 50mg. (Once a day for 30days)
  2. Limcee or any alternate brand medicines of Vitamin C. (Twice a day for 30days)
  3. Uprise D3 60k or any alternate brand medicines of Vitamin D3. (Once a week for 4weeks)
  4. Doxycycline (Twice a day for 10days)
  5. Ivermectin (Twice a day for 3days)
  6. Shelcal 500mg (Once every alternate day for a month)
  7. Becosules (Thrice a week for a month)
  8. Betadine for Gargle (Every time you gargle)
  9. Dolo 650mg or any alternate brand medicines of paracetamol more than equal to 500mg (If you have a fever or body ache)

(Note: Please concern your doctor before taking any medicine. The medicine referred to us as prescribed by the doctor on diagnosing our actual condition)


According to symptoms and investigation on concerning with the doctors, they prescribed more medicine in the second week of covid 19 illness for my family and me.


The doctors prescribed my mother and my wife a cough syrup for dry cough. For my wife, it was Benadryl DR.


The doctors also prescribed me and my wife Montair - LC at night for a week for any allergic symptoms.


As my mother and father, Chest CT scan report had CT Score 9, 10 respectively doctors also prescribed them some other medicine to improve their current condition.


Apart from the prescribed medicines, we also followed few home remedies. Home remedies helped us to recover very fast.
